Service Description
Please let me know what grade your child is in and what your concerns are on the questionnaire. Some areas include: Phonological awareness Phonics Decoding in any area High Frequency words (reading words that are non-decodable) Vocabulary (understanding the words) Comprehension of fiction and non-fiction texts Writing and organizing ideas to prepare for writing Test Taking strategies or Math K - 5 Services include Anything from identifying numbers to adding and subtracting to 100 Identifying and adding money Telling time One and two step word problems Measuring and taking data from charts and graphs Shapes: identifying and comparing
Cancellation Policy
1.1 Scheduling: Tutoring sessions must be scheduled 24 hours in advance through the website or by contacting Mrs. Rachel. Any cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.The first cancellation will be moved with no problems, second and further cancellations made within 24 hours will not be refunded or moved. Special considerations will be made on a case by case basis. If you are purchasing a subscription, you must notify me two weeks prior to the end of the sessions. 1.2 Punctuality and Preparedness: Please fill out the student information survey prior to our first session to give Mrs. Rachel valuable information on best educating your student. Tutors and students are expected to be punctual and prepared for each session. Sessions that are begun more than 10 minutes late will not be run over or rescheduled. Students should provide prior notice of specific topics or materials they need help with. 1.3 Code of Conduct: Mutual respect is required at all times. 1.4 Responsibilities of Tutors: Provide clear, accurate, and constructive instruction tailored to the student’s needs. Data driven feedback will be given after each session. Encourage active participation and critical thinking. Maintain confidentiality regarding the student’s academic performance and personal information. 1.5 Responsibilities of Students: Be proactive in communicating learning goals and challenges. Complete assigned work and practice outside of tutoring sessions if given. Respect the tutor’s time and effort. 2. Payment and Fees: Payment is expected through approved channels. Taxes will be included in the price at checkout on the website or stated if payment is given through Venmo or Zelle. Payment terms must be agreed upon before the first session. Subscription payments will be made weekly when charged to a card. Late payments may result in suspension of services. Refunds for missed sessions are subject to the cancellation policy. Please see 1.1 for the cancellation policy. If Mrs. Rachel has to cancel a session, a makeup option will be given or it will be moved to the end of the package or subscription. 3. Feedback and Grievances: Feedback from students and parents (if applicable) is encouraged to improve sessions. If academic feedback is given from teachers, please share this with Mrs. Rachel through Email or Student Data slides. If you have any questions or concerns, please bring them to Mrs. Rachel.
